Blog Subscribers: We’ve Gone Global!

8 02 2011

Artwork by Danielle Neilson, my niece!

In the words of Lightning McQueen from Theo’s favorite movie, Cars:

Blog Subscribers, “You Rock! But you know that!”

Just this morning, we topped the 800 mark. In one week!

Not only am I thrilled about that, but also about this:

We’ve Gone Global!

Just yesterday, someone from Singapore subscribed.

We also can count among our Email Subscribers all 50 states and these countries:

England
Germany
The Netherlands
Peru
Ecuador
Qatar
Canada
Mexico
France
South Africa
Taiwan
New Zealand
Sweden
Australia
Ireland

Keep ’em coming! My “Team” of amazing folks who are getting the behind-the-scenes job done professionally and with amazing speed have secured a URL for me. (Yes! I have Peeps! I call them Team Amy!)

So, from now on, please circulate this address:

http://www.itsinthegenesblog.com (old wordpress addy will still work for quite a while)

Team Amy has also moved the Email Subscription Tab to the top of the blog and made it easier to use!

And finally, this, from Monica Lesnau (Neither I nor Lightning McQueen could have said it better):

Writer Amy Rauch Neilson, long-time family friend and woman of indomitable spirit, is the creative force behind this blog. It’s dedicated to women with breast cancer, particularly those who carry the breast cancer genes. Pass it on to interested friends and family, of course, but it’s not a blog about disease. It’s a blog about life. Subscribe and help Amy achieve her goal of 5,000 subscriptions by March 3, 2011!

Amy, I’m a friend of Monica’s and that’s how I got here. Thank you for your amazing story. God has certainly gifted you with a wonderful writing voice. I promise to read that book when it comes out!

One suggestion to your Team is to add a share button near the top so that your subscribers can quickly share your blog through Facebook and other social networks. Get them working on it! In the meantime, I will do it manually because your goal is so important.

Blessings to you and yours,
Donna
