We are just leaving hospital after a day of tests. Met with my oncologist and we have a plan. A good plan. A hopeful plan. Details to come.
Thank you for your prayers. They are being answered. Please keep praying.

I updated my mom today and she also send love and prayers your way. You have not been a woman without a plan thus far, so I have NO doubt this one will turn out equally as great! You fight like a girl better than any of em’ keep it up! We are behind ya’!

Carpe Diem, Amy! If anyone can, you can girl cause you have spunk! We’ve been talking with the Great Physician, sending up many prayers, and I know that He loves you, as do we. Keep your chin up and think about those balloons rising up to the heavens as each one whispers to the Lord who hears each prayer.

Jeremiah 29:11 New King James Version (NKJV) says:

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Love you!!

No matter the problem, I always feel better as soon as I have a plan. Glad to hear of yours, and hope you can rest easy for a bit.

Awesome. Agree with Kate above, plans are very comforting. Sort of off point but not, one of my daughters was very ill as a nine-month baby. For one week straight, she vomited almost non-stop–to the point where she couldn’t hold down even a drop of water I fed her through a dropper. The doctors kept thinking she “was brewing a virus.” My husband kept pushing me to keep pushing back,and so I pestered the doctors with phone calls about she’s not her normal, perky self…something is really wrong…I’m not crazy…. Then came the bloody diarrhea diaper that gave her doctor a clue as to what was wrong. She was admitted to the hospital on Mother’s Day, where more tests were given and for many more days, I continued to be a wreck. I had two other young children at home whom I missed terribly,but I couldn’t leave Riley’s side. Oddly, once her condition was diagnosed and a plan of action was communicated to me, I felt my first sense of relief in almost weeks. She had a cyst on her small intestine, had it removed and is fine now (13 years later)–except for being a little bit sassy and bossy sometimes :). Hope is everything. Use it to keep up your strength and maintain a sense of peace. I know things seem really bad sometimes, but it could always be worse,right? Keep hope, Amy.

I’m sending this to let you know
I think of you each day,
And pray for your recovery,
Hoping soon you’ll be okay.

You’re going through a lot right now;
You’re treatments can be trying;
Remember while yo them
It’s your problem you’re defying.

Hold on to your positive attitude,
And when things get hard to bear,
Know that I am here for you;
Remember that I care.

And when you’re well and flourishing,
Look back and realize,
You learned what you were made of;
That’s a reward that satisfies!

I believe in you; You can do it!
