The Pink Fund will be honoring Amy’s life at the luncheon with The SurThrivor Award.
Amy attended this luncheon last year and below is a link to an unedited video interview that The Pink Fund did for last year’s luncheon. While it’s great to see her and hear her voice, it’s heart wrenching to know how hard she fought and how strong her belief in new medicine and finding a cure was that sadly there wasn’t anything to save her. Especially the last 2 minutes of the video – for those fighting any disease, listen to Amy’s words and keep the faith. A few times in the video the screen will go black but you can still hear what she’s saying. It’s a little over 17 minutes long but worth every minute. Second Event: Bras for Cause 4th Annual Fundraiser at the Royal Oak Music Theatre, fun, music, food, great auction items, and FOX 2 Detroit‘s Amy Lange is Emcee!! Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the door. September 15, 2012 6 – 10pm.
Amy modeling last year…we miss her so much!
Amy’s blog still contines to get 50-100+ views EVERYDAY! It’s still AMYAZING how she’s touching lives! She is missed sooooo much and not a day goes by that she’s not thought of. Don and Theo are doing well and she would be very proud of her boys!
Several of Amy’s family and friends will be in attendance at one or both of these events. We look forward to seeing you there to honor our dear sweet Amy that we all love and continue to hold close in our hearts.

I was thrilled to see something in my email from “In The Genes”. While I live in California and can’t participate in person in these events, I was thrilled to see that the legacy of Amy’s hard fought cancer battle lives on and continues to inspire others. I”m so glad to hear that Don and Theo are doing well. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I was always so inspired by Amy’s courageous fight. May God bless these events and continue to bless Don and Theo in their healing process.
Yes it’s “In The Genes” but Amy is in our hearts and always will be! She is near in thought each day and still brings a smile and a tear along with so many dear sweet memories!! Thanks Kristi for keeping us informed, no one could be more deserving of these honors than Amy who gave so much of herself to others.
